Ingredients:
- Butter and oil
- Chopped onion
- Minced garlic
- Peeled shrimp (tail shell left on)
- Cleaned clams
- Squid, sliced
- Crab, halved
- Fish pieces
- Celery
- Heavy cream or cooking cream
- A pinch of nutmeg
- Mastic gum, cardamom, and bay leaf
- Vegetable bouillon cube
Instructions:
- In a deep pot, sauté the onion and garlic with butter and oil, adding the mastic gum.
- Add the clams and crab, stirring well.
- Add the shrimp, squid, and fish pieces, stirring until they change color.
- Add 1 liter of water, or enough to cover all ingredients.
- Once it boils, add chopped celery, salt, black or white pepper, cardamom, and bay leaf.
- When all ingredients are fully cooked, add half a cup of heavy cream and a pinch of nutmeg. Serve hot.
