Pasta with Shrimp and Cream

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of penne pasta 😌
  • 250g shrimp (just a quarter kilo, since a kilo costs a fortune now 😏)
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • That zucchini-looking thing we’ve been ignoring, might as well use it before it goes to waste
  • Some leftover greens from our last stuffed veggie meal (better use them than waste them)
  • 1 carton of cooking cream
  • Minced garlic
  • Butter
  • Salt, black pepper, and celery

Method:

  1. Sauté the garlic in butter until fragrant, then add the shrimp and stir together.
  2. Toss in that zucchini-looking thing and keep stirring.
  3. Pour in the cream, add a little water, and let it simmer until everything cooks through.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, and if you have celery, toss that in too.
  5. Once the pasta is cooked, mix it into the sauce.
  6. Add the cherry tomatoes at the end so they don’t get mushy 🤭.
  7. Let it come to a gentle boil, turn off the heat, and voilà—you’re done!
