Amazing Pastries with Three Flavors
Delicious Taste and Soft Dough
Ingredients: 🌹
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- ½ cup oil
- 1 egg white
- 1 packet baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 3½ to 4 cups flour
- 1 egg yolk
For the filling: 🌹
- Cocoa hazelnut cream
- Peanut butter
- Apricot jam
- Or you can just use chocolate spread
For decoration:
- Almond flakes
- Powdered sugar
Method of preparation: 🌹
- To prepare the dough, add the milk, yeast, and sugar into a suitable bowl, and stir all the ingredients together.
- Then add the oil, egg white, baking powder, salt, and gradually add the flour. Mix the ingredients together, and when the dough starts to come together, begin kneading it by hand.
- Once the dough is ready, move on to shaping it. To prevent the dough from drying out while shaping, keep it covered.
- Take a piece of dough and start gathering it. Lightly dust your work surface with flour, and using a rolling pin, roll the dough out lengthwise.
- On one side of the dough, make small cuts using a knife. On the other side, add your chosen fillings like cocoa hazelnut cream or chocolate spread. Then roll the dough into a roll and shape it into a crescent. Repeat the process with the remaining dough.
- Place all the shaped pastries on a baking tray. Before baking, let them rest for 20 minutes to rise.
- Once the pastries have risen, brush them with egg yolk and decorate with almond flakes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for 15 minutes.
- After baking, let them cool slightly, then sprinkle with powdered sugar for a better look and taste. Serve as you like and enjoy!
